what did you use to make this?

I would like to know that. If you need a re-sampler, you could try FL studio or Audacity, either one will do the trick for free. Hope this helps.
BTW: this is a nifty beat. I think this would be good ambient music in a game.

sandlasjuagas responds:

I actually used audacity to make this whole thing. I got the samples from a website called soundsnap.com and just mixed them together in audacity. What happened was that I figured out that I I had the wrong kHz halfway through and so some samples were at 100000 kHz and some were at the right amount of kHz. When I tried to convert the samples to the right rate, they slowed down and got all out of synch. So I just played the song and recorded with the stereo mix recorder on audacity. It only had a little buzzing so I was okay with it.

Very impressive

It takes guts to sing. I should know, singing in the church choir is MUCH harder then it seems. Very good work on the music. Could use to be longer, 4-6 min.

I'll pass the word along to Brian, I'm sure he'll greatly appreciate the sympathy. As for the length, our two newest songs are rather long, but unfortunately it'll be quite some time before they land on newgrounds, because we wrote them shortly after finishing recording for our second CD. Maybe I can talk the guys into doing a low-quality demo recording just to throw up here temporarily.

VERY good

You get a TEN. I don't give out that many tens. Ok, anymore.

Anyway, just like the other two, it was beautifully mastered and I was most definatly the best of all three. I think that this is your best work to date.

TheMayo responds:

Thanks
I Worked Really Hard on this one
I appreciate the review and im glad you liked it

Cool.

Beautifly mastered, but a little too repetitive.

TheMayo responds:

yea, i kno...sorry

LOL very fun

I can just imagen it, "Attack of the killer toys!" from this song. so much fun imagening toys marching away from a factory by the hundred.

I is a tiny, tiny bit repetive, but that's ok. Beautifily mastered.

TheMayo responds:

aha
Thnx

but tht ones a bit more repetitive
=P

Cool

A few improvments that could be made: shorten the intro, make the bass a tad quieter, as it is overpowering everything. work on the smoothness of the accelerando. a little repetitive at times, but certen parts are worth it.

customstuff responds:

Thanks, the bass was supposed to be loud though. It's actually not that loud if you think about it, it just has flanger and blood overdrive in it. Thanks for your opinion though!

Cool.

great to have on whilst daydreaming... ah, the possibities.
The lead synth is either "plucked!" or "Sytrus", right?
nice ambient song. You have managed to capture the essence of the song, which is difficult to do, especially with vocals.

RB6ELITE responds:

it is actually a mix of 3 different synths, one is sytrus, one is z3ta, one is vanguard

interesting contrast

The contrast between the color of the synths and the chord progression pattern creates an interesting contrast which makes this useful in a varity of situations. However, you probably should change your chord progression sometime in the middle for a better listening song, instead of a soundtrack one.

Shinrog responds:

I do that nowadays, this 1 is one of the oldest songs I've made while practicing..
